Case briefs written by T6 students at the top of their class.
Why does this page say Quimbee on it?
In 2021, LSD tried to get students cheaper access to Quimbee by organizing a group buy because Quimbee offered a large volume discount. After about 400 LSD users signed up for the group buy, Quimbee threw us under the bus, revoked everyone's access, and decided to “clarify” their Terms of Service. What follows below is our original shut down message.
======================
The LSData x Quimbee deal is dead.
Quimbee has updated their Terms of Service and our ability to get you all a great price is most definitely not within their new Terms of Service.
After so many of you signed up so quickly, Quimbee decided to “clarify” (their word, we would have said something like “significantly alter”, but we aren’t lawyers) their Terms of Service.
The new terms explicitly prohibit users from different schools from joining the same group account. As an extra kick in the teeth, they also prohibit a single group manager (i.e. LSData) from administering multiple groups (i.e. LSD-run school-specific groups).
We think that access to quality educational tools should be available for everyone. Maybe one day soon, a couple of motivated students will create a site where students can freely share case briefs and law school data. ;)
Sincerely,
Dinan & Jarron
