A quick definition of in autre droit:

Term: in autre droit

Definition: In autre droit is a term used in Law French, which means the same as en autre droit. It refers to a legal right or claim that a person may have in addition to the one being discussed. It is often used to indicate that there may be other legal issues or claims that need to be considered in a particular case.

A more thorough explanation:

Term: In autre droit
Definition: In French law, this term means "in another right." It refers to a situation where a person has a legal claim or right that is separate from the one being discussed. For example, if someone is being sued for damages in a car accident, but they also have insurance that covers the damages, they could claim that they are not liable for the damages "in autre droit" because their insurance company has the right to handle the claim.
Example: In a divorce case, one spouse may claim that they have a right to a portion of the other spouse's retirement benefits "in autre droit" because they were awarded those benefits in a previous court case. This means that the court must consider this separate legal claim when making a decision about the division of assets in the divorce.
Explanation: The term "in autre droit" is used to indicate that there is another legal claim or right that is relevant to the situation being discussed. It is important to consider these separate claims when making legal decisions to ensure that all parties' rights are protected.

@PremiumFrequentCrane Is right.
You'll forever have those days where shit ain't getting done. Just a matter of how you handle them. (IE using Chatgpt to draft a motion for leave like meeeee)

look at my lawyer dawg... im going to jail
Nah, I don't use it to do my case law. Just the actual motion drafting.
For example, I was trying to get the right language in a Motion for Sanctions (tl;dr slip and fall case, defense counsel played nothing but games – IE never sending records despite it being mandatory to trcp, producing never before seen records DURING A DEPO) and just talked to ChatGPT about his behavior to provide background to help with the drafting for the procedural paragraph.
@NosyBeagle: just makes me think of vanillamace
