counteraffidavit

Read a random definition: central clearing system

A quick definition of counteraffidavit:

A counteraffidavit is a written statement made by someone to oppose and contradict another written statement called an affidavit. An affidavit is a document where someone writes down facts and swears to them in front of a person authorized to administer oaths. Counteraffidavits are often used in legal cases to challenge evidence presented by the other party.

A more thorough explanation:

A counteraffidavit is a legal document that contradicts and opposes another affidavit. An affidavit is a voluntary declaration of facts written down and sworn to by the declarant before an officer authorized to administer oaths, such as a notary public.

For example, in a court case, one party may submit an affidavit as evidence to support their argument. The opposing party may then submit a counteraffidavit to contradict the facts presented in the original affidavit and support their own argument.

Overall, a counteraffidavit is a tool used in legal proceedings to challenge the validity of an affidavit and present opposing evidence.

I imagine you've already looked at the data on here? There's one person who got in with nearly identical stats, but... they applied early, they're URM, they have what seems like impressive WE, and their essays must have been killer because they got in everywhere they applied except a WL at UVA. It also probably helped that they have over a decade's distance from their undergrad GPA

If you wanted to respond in a meaningful way you could have. It didnt hurt my feelings at all I don't really care I'm going to law school. I know my stats suck I'm pretty sure last time I talked to you I told you that was the best I have been able to do with accommodations and they were explained in addenda. It pissed me off because I'm looking for useful insight not whatever you're here doing.
