This legal case established that racial discrimination in public education is unconstitutional and all laws permitting such discrimination must be disregarded. The court requested further argument on how relief should be granted due to varying local conditions. The Attorney General of the United States and the Attorneys General of states permitting racial discrimination in public education presented their views on the matter. The cases are being remanded to the original courts due to their proximity to local conditions and possible need for further hearings. Equitable principles will guide the courts in fashioning and effectuating the decrees. The personal interest of the plaintiffs in admission to public schools on a nondiscriminatory basis is at stake, and eliminating obstacles to effectuate this interest may require the elimination of various obstacles in transitioning to school systems operated in accordance with constitutional principles.

Brief anything. Instantly.

Our proprietary state-of-the-art system can instantly brief over 6,000,000 US cases. That means we can probably brief that case that your professor assigned last night when she sent you a poorly scanned pdf and told you to read every third paragraph. Or maybe she uploaded it to Canvas and didn’t really tell you to read it, but you know you probably should. Tenure does wild things to good people.
