The case involves a dispute between Dr. Baker and Howard County Hunt over the repeated trespassing of the defendants' hounds on the Baker farm, causing damage to their property and disturbing their peaceful enjoyment. The lower court erred in dismissing the complaint, as the Bakers have an absolute right to enjoy their property without interference. The defendants are liable for the damage caused by their hounds, and the law provides protection against a repetition of such acts. The appellants suffered intangible injuries due to the repeated trespasses of the hounds, making a legal remedy inadequate. Therefore, the appellants are entitled to equitable relief, and Dr. Baker's act of shooting the dogs was not so wrongful as to preclude him from receiving it.
