Tell us what's important to you
nothing else from my end. kinda just letting it go and thinking of applying as a transfer if anything
maybe its a self esteem thing but I dont like some school holding out on me so much knowing im a qualified applicant especially with offers from other schools that have made me feel wanted :/
how are you guys feeling?
13:05
I haven’t heard anything and people on Reddit have been asking about any movement too :/
13:05
Im really surprised at the lack of communication tbh, if they’re full they need to just tell us. I’m starting to lose hope and accept the fact that I may never get off the WL lol the only reason I’m holding out this long is I have a spot at a better ranked school
Yeah I agree, it definitely does seem like theyre just full and are seeing if anyone else drops. You're hoping to get a bigger scholarship from Cardozo than the school you have a spot in already?
I enrolled in a lower ranked school but im happy with the campus, the schedule I already received (and the professors), and the overall vibe ive gotten from the school so im going in to it with the mindset of being the best I can be wherever I go especially with schools dropping out of rankings and all that jazz
13:33
I doubt Cardozo will give me a better scholarship but if they gave me any amount of money I’d take it, I’d love to live in NYC
13:34
No truly rankings are complete BS, but I’m hoping for NYC biglaw and they care about rankings which sucks, but W&L places well in NYC so it’s all good. It’s just in a super small town which I dont vibe with
13:34
That’s awesome you like the school you’re in enrolled in!! It’s great to have a school that really wants you and I’m sure you’d do great there
Thank you kittykat! NYC would be lucky to have you, if not your first year of law school then maybe your second or third! Plus W&L is great too
did you apply anywhere else in NYC?
19:21
Only Fordham which was a reach :/ but it’s okay no matter what happens I’m sure it’ll all work out :)
19:21
If Cardozo ends up accepting you, would you go or are you for sure going to your current school?
someone else was just accepted
with higher stats than me hehe
I honestly dont know, probably depends on the scholarship but im also open to transferring in next year if anything
its been my dream school for forever but I feel defeated honestly, as I imagine everyone else does
do you think they're still reviewing new applications??
are they more likely to offer admissions to the new applications or those on the waitlist?
I would hope those waitlisted
I am waiting until next week if I don’t hear anything I am just going to move forward with travel/housing for the other school I am going to
21:12
Someone on Reddit said they got off the Cardozo waitlist recently
Someone withdrew on Saturday so maybe some more movement today
do you all think many ppl withdrew or will these coming days?
i am so confused about the waitlist how are people chosen from waitlist?
@ScaryDebonairRock: i think it's when the spaces open or they are going back to the waitlist to rereview and if they see there is a fit, they will admit. I'm not sure, if there are spaces, whether they'll first admit those applicants they are still reviewing files or go to the waitlist. Seems to me they may first look at applicants still in review and then go to waitlist
i wonder how many empty spots they have left?
that makes sens thank you!
