Using statistics, we most likely are looking at a handful (4-6 or so) more direct A’s, and then an additional 5 or so off the waitlist.
Applicants posting on LSD are up this cycle, though. So we’re probably looking at one more decent-sized A wave before their big R/WL waves that hits most years the last week of March or first week of April.
Factoring in the increased applicants posting on LSD this cycle, we’re probably looking at somewhere around 7-12 more direct A’s (prior to pulling from waitlist), and then another 5-10 from the waitlist. Many of those WL A’s don’t come until May, so if you get on the WL, just brace for a bit of a ride.
So yes, still a good chunk of A’s to come.
I think we're going to see the last direct acceptance A wave (before pulling from waitlist) mid-late next week, followed the next day by the next big Yale R wave next Thursday or Friday (March 30 or 31) or the following Monday (April 3). The WL wave (along with maybe another R wave) should hit a couple days to a week after the next R wave.

Can confirm that YLS admitted students weekend is April 2-4, but they have an additional one-day admitted students event later in April for those who can't make the main weekend

@KrustyKrab: is it true that the slack chat is basically full? how many As do you think are left based on that
TheGoofyGoober55
4:54
There’s no point in estimating if there’s A’s left based on Slack chat lol. There are definitely still A’s out there. That’s very obvious based on numbers here.

wait if admit weekend is April 2-4 then there won't be more admits right?
bc those new admits will just miss the weekend (yale won't send an offer march 31 and let them fly to New Haven the day after tmrw, right?)
FunctionalDynamicGorgon

Based on last year’s data, it looks like only 3 people got in after 3/30
