17:21
They sent out a form to WL applicants
17:22
To reconfirm interest and submit a LOCI, if they wanted. They had options you could select about if you'd commit without $$, if you required X to commit, if you're still not sure, etc.
17:22
They said they started/will start pulling a limited number of applicants from the WL in April, then few more in May, and then continue up to orientation
17:31
Same here. Very few will get off after April they said.
19:37
Yeah, and then the people who do get off likely won't get scholarships. I hope there's at least a little something available!
19:38
I don't think I could do sticker, lol
Does anyone have the link to the accepted students discord?
14:00
Found it on Reddit - looks like it's this one! https://discord.com/invite/XPPy9uqw7K
14:01
Also, I see Wake is rejecting people on the waitlist? Kind of weird - you'd think they'd just let people ride it out, lol
Do you guys know of any updates regarding waitlist for either being rejected or accepted? I received their continued interest email last tuesday and was just wondering if anyone heard back any decisions?
15:35
Nope, got the same email but haven't heard anything else
14:11
Just got the following email 5/17: "Our enrollment projections continue to indicate that our incoming class will be be near/at maximum capacity for this fall. Consequently, as of today, we have released most students from the waitlist. You remain active on our waitlist (i.e., we have not released you from the waitlist). The waitlist remains unranked."
14:12
Absolute miracle to have made it this far ๐Ÿ˜ญโœจ๐Ÿคž
14:13
"We now expect to admit a very limited number of students (likely 12 or fewer) from the waitlist over this spring and summer..." "We plan to send out another general waitlist update by June 9, 2023."
14:13
Same here! Pleasantly surprised ๐Ÿ˜ญ
This is so crazy omg
they really need to start getting it together!!
but i am somewhat happy that they havent rejected me yet
fingers crossed for everyone!!
14:47
Yesssss - 12 spots means all three of us could make it! Lol. Fingers crossed!
yuppp, itll all work out in the end!
14:57
Have y'all visited or done a tour? I have one tomorrow morning and was going to use my learnings to write another LOCI, lol
No, I haven't gotten a chance to tour since I live in NY, but that will be a good idea to tour and then write an LOCI!
14:58
Woke up sick today (of course, lmao) and missed my tour - I'll have to gather some other LOCI material
14:58
But thank you!!
15:59
Nvm, just got released after withdrawing this morning, lol. Did y'all get an update yet?
awee im so sorry to hear that! What time did you get the update?
2:19
I think it was about 3:30 p.m. or so (EST)
2:22
Ahhh no worries. Disappointing but I'm flattered to have stayed as long as I did, haha. I've also got my fingers crossed for you!
Thank you so much!
