I think I did do the Why Wake, but it's been a while so I can't remember, lol. I'm WL so doing the tour on 4/7 and then sending LOCI afterward
has anyone been able to negotiate scholarships? I see they have a policy against it, but not sure if its worth a shot
tkh3
11:19
I didn't do why wake, but I had a paragraph at the end of my personal statement addressing it.
19:32
When i contacted them they said do not send an LOCI unless it shows you can in your portal which usually means you were put on the waitlist. they "do not want applicants submitting more paperwork they have to go through unless requested"
@ALB2023: well shit lmao
is there an admitted students chat?
17:32
@ALB2023: thats crazy, I sent in a loci and got accepted the following week
11:53
awesome congrats! im on the WL and i asked thats the only reason i know. it may have helped you they may have not looked at it we will never know just relaying what i was told:)
12:19

12:21
I randomly got scared one night and panick wrote a "Why WF" and sent it in
@Snowboii: that is exactly what I did LOL
Saw the wake portal updated to say they are most likely sending decisions today. Interesting that they are releasing some decisions in April...
Does anyone have any experience negotiating scholarships with Wake?
13:03
applied early december and have heard nothing
11:06
Anybody have any idea/assumptions as to why some of us are being skipped over?
11:06
Like people who went complete after us are getting decisions (whether A, WL, or R) and ours are still UR?
12:53
You may have an application they consider borderline where it's hard for them to make a decision on you one way or the other? That would be my assumption, but I could be wrong.
17:32
heard today. rejected. applied Dec 28. 25% LSAT 75% GPA and they told me not interested:)
17:36
got rejected today. above 75th gpa and a little below median lsat. did not do a why wake and applied at the end of december. ngl pretty blown, didn't even know "why wake" was a thing. thought i would have at least gotten a waitlist and i really love the school
16:20
went to admitted students day and it confirmed this is the school for me. Just committed to WFU !
