My friend did go to UA for undergrad so maybe that has something to do with it
StinkyButt
4:49
That’s interesting. The only thing that definitively reveals is that what the admissions director said wasn’t true, intentional or not
StinkyButt
4:50
They shouldn’t be adding to their WL at this point, which may have been why he said it
StinkyButt
4:52
Sorry about your R. It’s UA’s loss
12:43
Yeah, it’s okay I was below their LSAT median and applied late so I’m not that upset. Also, I guess UA has some internal scandals going on so maybe going this year wasn’t in the cards for me
StinkyButt
16:31
Oh, I hadn't heard. UA as a whole or the law school in particular?
StinkyButt
16:32
they do seem to be somewhat more holistic in their admissions than many other schools, at least according to the data on LSD

Lol
Not trying to be the bearer of bad news, but I went on a tour today, and the dean said that the class is pretty much full. She mentioned they are "pretty much" done with the waitlist and still need to review the few applications they received over the past few days.
They also have pretty much $0 in scholarship money left.
StinkyButt
1:13
Thanks. That would be my expectation this late in the game.
StinkyButt
1:13
I’ll stay on the WL until they send the R
StinkyButt
1:16
“Pretty much” isn’t “completely” though. As someone mentioned earlier, a few folks will withdraw even after depositing bc they got off a WL somewhere else.
^absolutely!
StinkyButt
16:08
I just got in. I wouldn’t put a grain of salt into what the admissions people say. They say different things to different people and everything is couched in language that gives them wiggle room
StinkyButt
16:10
“Mostly” full. Don’t “expect” to admit more students. “Probably” out of money. That’s been their m.o. throughout this cycle
I withdrew, so hopefully that helps somebody. They didn’t offer much funding.
@MereMushyDuck: Wtf MereMusyDuck was my name before I changed it like a week ago lol
When did you withdraw, and did they offer you any scholarship money at all?
Yesterday. And zero in scholarships.
I liked the name! Haha.
