Is UC Davis WL movement a thing
Literally begging to be let off the waitlist atp
@WildAlikeOyster: Did you submit a LOCI yet?
@WildAlikeOyster: I submitted my inital Waiting List Response through the link they gave me, but the status in my checker has yet to update. I've written my LOCI, but it says "We encourage you to submit a Continued Interest response only if you received an email from our office requesting you to reconfirm your interest."
"We encourage you to submit a Continued Interest response only if you received an email from our office requesting you to reconfirm your interest." I read this as well but could you remind me where it is? I don't see it in the waitlist FAQs @crowdedstingymandrill
@CondemnedPuffyGnome: It's in the Status Check area where you click on "Waitlist Response Form." I think they are referencing the Waitlist Response form itself. I submitted a LOCI by email irregardless
@CondemnedPuffyGnome: It wasn't clear to me whether or not they meant a LOCI in the form of a PDF in email or that a Continued Response response was just the form response that they will ask us in say "1 month" if we still want to be on the waitlist
@CondemnedPuffyGnome: Unclear to me tbh
Hi! So I think I know what you are talking about, the continued interest response is basically uc davis asking you to submit another response reconfirming your interest in staying on the waitlist, my understanding is they do this down line when someone has been on the waitlist for some time, it is different from the LOCI. I submitted my LOCI via email and I received a response next day from the admissions confirming receipt. Hope this helps!
@WildAlikeOyster: Yes very helpful, thanks!
@WildAlikeOyster perfect this was my exact question
Has Davis already sent out financial aid packages to some students? Not just the merit scholarships but the need based grants and what not?
U got this
I need to get off the waitlist at Davis :(
@LawLover19: Samesies. Already sent my LOCI and have to deposit elsewhere by the 15th.
Does anyone know what the 1L sample schedule looks like? The link on their site just goes to an error
@CrowdedStingyMandrill: you committed to Davis! best of luck!
@CondemnedPuffyGnome: Yup! Still staying on the waitlist at Davis and UCI though. Even if I get pulled off, it will be with minimum aid. Will have a tough decision to make though!
Did anyone else receive the waitlist update email? I thought it was a decision and was literally shaking…
Are y’all gonna stay on?? I’m unfortunately quite down bad for Davis so I think I will
I will but without money it’s tough
will next year cycle have same medians?
Has anyone heard back from the WL
i applied late (End of march) and still have not been placed on waitlist or rejected/accepted. They told me they are still reviewing my app?-- anyone in same boat?
I applied at the beginning of May and just got an R
In the email, they said their class is capped at 200. I have a feeling the class may be full or near capacity
