Tell us what's important to you
but also
the two other ppl who got it applied earlier than you!
I think we were all early dec or earlier acceptances
sorry I peeped at ur profile but don't lose hope. I think this is only the first round I am a reapplicant and they gave like three rounds last year
@Lawgirl0613: thank you so much! I was starting to panic! Do you know how far apart the three BLOS waves are?
Also, I peeped your profile too and OMG a Yale A like thats extremely rare, congratulations! Seems like you have a tough decision on which law school to attend but rooting for you nonetheless :)
no literally don't ummm if I remember correctly it was like once every three weeks. I was rejected last cycle so I was like lol probs not even looked at for blos but yea they did a couple rounds and I actually remember a girl posting one way late like late late march early April (I think there is another round after ppl make their decision bc I only have until April 1st to enroll and commit)
and thanks so much! a lot to consider but I hope you get it. You deserve it!!!
okay this is super helpful, I will try to keep my morale up! Now its time to destress with some Abbott Elementary haha
So much good information on here about BLOS. God bless the reapplicant on here saving us from a weekend of stress
I have not received a decision after applying early sept as a reverse splitter. Anybody else in my boat?
has anyone heard back today? i see one R from this morning so i'm nervous haha....
just got the email that I did not get the PI scholarship so holding out hope for the BLOS
@WatermelonLover: im out of msgs in general chat, how do u know that a jan admit heard back from blos
@wishmelucc Someone posted on reddit and also you can check the LSD data which also shows a Jan admit
oh okay, i assumed the jan admit was pi (and the amount reflected in/out of state)
Just got the email that i did not get the blos either. Super sad as that would have ended my cycle but I guess I will not be attending berkeley in the fall lol :(
same :( are u not gonna wait for the aid offer @watermelonlover ?
@wishmelucc: Yea I will but looking at previous years the regular gift aid is terrible so that’s why I don’t have a lot of hope.
true, same basically but i don’t rly have better options anyway :/
@wishmelucc: I really hope you get into more schools and are able to increase your scholarship offers that way! I just want to let you know I understand your stress completely but you have competitive stats so don’t lose hope now. If anything, renegotiate with Berkeley when they try to low-ball you!
@WatermelonLover: thank u so much, same to you and good luck<3
I noticed on reddit a lot of people get berk decisions around 9-10 pm ET. anyone know how consistent that is (e.g. all decisions vs just for big waves)
i checked! historically As do come between 9p-11:30p EST
To any/all who heard back today, when did you submit your applications?
if anyone receives aid offers pls put the date you received it
Berkeley is scaring me bc everyone who applied around when I did already heard back
But I feel like I wrote strong essays and I applied for the BLOS so idk I’m not losing all hope yet but it’s making me so nervous
@MinecraftSteve: I totally feel you. I'm like 90% sure I'm on Hold now, but I wish I would get some kind of communication from Berk!
