Help us make LSD better!
Tell us what's important to you
We'll probably both be drinking heavily
I’m so sorry as well pessimistic :(((( keeping my fingers crossed for you on the WL!
Also just got an A !!!
Congrats!! Here's hoping they still have A's to give off the wait
You’re in my thoughts and I’m so hoping you get off the WL
It’s so hard but I’ve been trying to remind myself everything will work out the way it’s supposed to and you will end up where you belong. I really hope it’s Northeastern tho!
what's your plan now pessimisticoptimist?
Thank you so much! The plan now is to deposit at Cardozo and write a couple of LOCIs this weekend
I do really like Cardozo but I really wanna end up practicing in MA, my home state
And tonight I'm going to drink, a lot lol
Best of luck! I've got a couple friends at Cardozo and they really love it. Plus there'll still be a chance to practice in Mass
Thank you!! Hoping for the best and I know that no matter what, I'm going to be a lawyer :)
No aid from waitlist. Sucks
yeah, pretty lame
I got in...seems like they purposefully waited until now so they wouldn't give me aid 😢
@PessimisticOptimist: Did you receive a WL feeler email from them before they offered you a spot?
Also, congrats on the acceptance!!
Yup, I got it on Wednesday/Thursday, checked my spam this morning and saw I got in lol
I received one on Thursday too! Are you thinking about taking the offer?
I think so...sticker price is steep but I'm fortunate to have some money saved
Has anybody been accepted off of the waitlist? What did you do to get off of it?
I’ve seen a few people get off the WL on reddit
Does your status say waitlist? Mine just says "completed" with no decision and no decision date
Mine still has the decision date and all other info
And yes, it says Waitlisted in the decision status
I was also accepted off the WL last week and got a 9k scholarship which I thought was small but reading how others got no money I am feeling very fortunate
Would people say Northeastern is worth sticker?
@SubsequentImaginaryPlatypus: the merit scholarship they noted to you, is that for each year or combined 3 years?
Northeastern is NOT worth sticker! People go to Northeastern for PI law, and that pays low, don't ruin your financial life!
