do we have a discord?
Is anyone else having a hard time logging into their account?
So has anybody gotten scholly info after applying, or do they release all at once on a certain day?
They are going to start releasing info March 15, I visited the other day and asked

I applied to GSU and UGA first week in January and still haven't heard anything ... anyone else?
Third year Gsu law student here. Wanted to wish you all luck and here to answer any questions if y'all have any!

Scholly award finally received! 2k for 1L (total) + full tuition 2L/3L in exchange for being a Grad Assistant +2k per semester stipend 2L/3L
15:19
So IF I managed to get a point foundation scholly, that’d be damn close to debt free
@Fatbear747: pretty much same, what’s the point foundation scholly?
15:27
It’s for the girls gays and theys lol. Can be up to 28k/year, depending on the cost of attendance. I’m a semifinalist so not tryna count my chickens before they hatch…
15:27

Finally just sent my scholly negotiation email off to GSU. If they bite, I suspect I’ll be seeing some of my fellow “ghosted by Emory” folks in Atlanta come fall.

Congrats @inflexiblesplitter! When did you apply and when did you hear back?
13:21
I just got an update that says my application requires additional review before the faculty admission committee. Does this mean anything or is it just UR2?

@ExcellentRuralOstrich: Thanks! I applied 3/14, complete 3/15, accepted 3/30 and I actually just received notice today that I was awarded a scholarship. I applied to the PT day program and will be attending in the fall. I think I completed the scholarship app April 6th or 7th. It moved really fast for me which is super lucky, I know it's been a crazy cycle. I wasn't expecting such a fast decision or scholarship offer, but it sure made my life easier. GSU was my top choice because, even though UGA is great, it would be a super difficult commute for me an I'm a non-trad applicant. But the scholly clinched it for me.
7:50
@InflexibleSplitter: same re. Scholly. I’m a nontrad, I’m coming in with career experience so knowing “hey I can achieve my career goals from GSU” means a lot.
7:50
Committed yesterday, because at the end of the day the GA offer was too good to turn down
12:52
What're the chances of getting off the waitlist in this cycle?
10:32
FYI for any accepted students that wanna actually attend, there's a mandatory "complete by 2pm EST 07/10" email survey we're supposed to do

just in case anyone is like me and almost forgot
