i know people say they are the same, but a certain T14 school, when given a second interview, told me that a reserve group means it is way more selective and they place more priority to the list.

I asked this question before but my chat refreshed before I could read the responses: Does CLS give merit aid to early decision applicants (not including hamilton)? I know you cannot negotiate since you have to withdraw from other schools beforehand.
Hoping to get R from Columbia waitlist just to eliminate the possibility at this point...
