I have found a lot of peace in seeking joy in what is simple and nourishing. It amplifies the power of things that are simply pleasurable, like cookies. It's not easy, though. Also, I'm old and have a lot of memories of great stuff to pull from when I'm eating the same vegetable pile for the third day in a row.

So I don't know. Maybe seeking enough experiences when you're young will help you do the boring stuff when it really matters because you're old and a poorly considered meal can screw you up for a week?

Wanted advice. About to take my 3rd and hopefully last LSAT this august and was wondering how many practice tests should I take a week rn? I am accommodated for ADHD so tests take a lot longer. I have taken 75% of modern PT's and used to take them about once a week.

id say no more than 3 a week, no less than 1. Consider doing a couple of 2 a days to train stamina. Also consider taking them in distracting environments ie while Trout Mask Replica or Death Grips is playing

I have a 3.73 overall but i had 29 credits transfer from HS (IB credits - no grade just credits) I had 1 P/F class (only offered as P/F). My school also doesn't do A+ A is the highest. the only way to know what will happen is to check your LSAC GPA

you can use a calculator but it's very time-consuming and allows quite large room for error

I liked studying for the LSAT. The unrelenting anxiety about poor performance, not so much.

Yeah I dont mind the studying, its the dropping 6 points from PT to actual test day that i dislike

I'm kicking around retaking it. I dropped 5 from practice, but I had like crazy nausea, and the proctoring experience was really weird -- the lady was like barking at me to hurry up with the stuff she wanted even though it was impossible to go any faster. Then the call center mic came on in the middle of my test, so there was like this flood

of voices, startled the crap out of me in the middle of rc. But I did hit my target score, just this little voice that says I could have done better if the test hadn't been a calamity

Online this time. I took it in person 14 years ago, and I got the same score, but I also didn't know how to study. Also, 14 years is enough for cognitive decline to set in a little lol

14 years ago, the books were all like "learn to diagram conditional logic" so I spent a lot of time on that. Now they say do not do that, and yes, do not do that.

Basically I made progress by doing focused drills that had questions I as bad at of the exact same type over and over until I started to see the patterns in the way they try to throw you off.

@TylerDurdenxTravisBicklexReader depends on what you're looking for in a law school. Plenty of great schools within range of 157. If you're trying for the "T14" then you may need to retake. But plenty in the T50 that will take 157.

Whats is an average first time LSAT practice test score? Im new to studying for the LSAT and play on taking the test in November. Without studying I scored a 147 on a practice exam, where does this place me relatively if anyone knows?

i would say that's a pretty good start considering you did zero prep

the average score without prep is like a 147-153

i don't think anyone with certainty can say where that puts you in terms of how much you have to study, what your score will be, etc.. you're gonna have to start studying and identify your strengths and weakness and all that fun stuff

Hi I am new I currently attend stevens institute of technology I have a 3.83 GPA and a 148 LSAT. I am an eagle scout. I have been super anxious about gettting into law school, My dream school is New York Law School.

I took the april LSAT (cancelled my score). I kept the June one (which was teh 148).

I am not trying to take the LSAT 5 times tis is my third attempt

I would focus on your weaknesses before trying out pts. only take the lsat again if you're consistently scoring where you want.

i BELIEVE the recommended GPA for NYU is like 3.75+, so youre totally good there. However, I'd really keep studying and put off the lsat for a couple months if I were you. Schools really weight the LSAT heavily, so you wanna give yourself the best chance. You could also put off law school for one year and just give yourself a whole year to study.

UNC is crazy competitive, but that doesn't mean that its impossible. Wake should probably be your target school though.
