@St-Thomas-More IMO 170 is a great score. We are just in a competitive cycle right now with lots of people applying. More 170s will get rejected this year than get accepted. PLUS, online forums tend to have a selection bias with the people talking about their scores. 5:18 PM

This makes it seem like a disproportionately high number of people are getting 170s and makes you start to think "huh, maybe its not that special." @St-Thomas-More IMO 170 is a great score. We are just in a competitive cycle right now with lots of people applying. More 170s will get rejected this year than get accepted. PLUS, online forums tend to have a selection bias with the people talking about their scores. 5:18 PM

I've noticed people who get 170+ scores tend to post about it ALOT. This makes it seem like a disproportionately high number of people are getting 170s and makes you start to think "huh, maybe its not that special." If you really want to go there, you can always ED but don't expect money. If you can get a higher PT like 176 then I would consider applying but a 167 isn't far off from a 171. If you are set on working in a specific city (especially if that is not Chicago, LA, or NYC), there is almost certainly a regional powerhouse at which you could receive something close to a full ride and access a solid network 8:33 AM

@Mudbug954 I did the basic subscription at $95. Didn't feel like I needed the classes or anything though that's up to you. Just wanted access to the algorithm. FWIW I started really using the demon when I was scoring 164-170 on PTs (Diaged 158). Ended up with an official 172. 5:15 PM

A couple of website gripes: people misentering the cycle they have applied, so looking at charts now I'm seeing some applicants from last year. Second gripe, people putting things like interview date or complete date as something like 6/9/1969. When you go to make a chart, it compresses the Y axis due to those hooligans. 11:03 AM
