If you really want to go there, you can always ED but don't expect money. If you can get a higher PT like 176 then I would consider applying but a 167 isn't far off from a 171. Need a degree of +/- 5. High GPA helps. You had a good shot of getting into at least 1 T14 with that GPA last cycle. Still a gamble though. If you really want to get in, 7:51 PM

A couple of website gripes: people misentering the cycle they have applied, so looking at charts now I'm seeing some applicants from last year. I really don't know much at all about part time programs/online, just make sure you do your due diligence about employment outcomes at those schools. From my understanding, the best way to get a job is to summer there as a 2L and IDK what that looks like at an online/part time program. For GPA, the difficulty of program, school curve, etc, are essentially sorts that may be considered. A law school may love rounding out their class with a doctor of pharmacy, which isn’t common entry into law school. I wouldn't use softs to gauge my chances somewhere. Just know whether you have strong or weak softs and try to make them as strong as possible to give you an advantage at reach schools. Don't ruminate on how much each thing helps. 12:21 PM

T14 technically just refers to the US News rankings which used to be far more stable. So nowadays, the 10-14 change year to year. Many still consider Cornell to be T14 because it was there for so long, but dropped to 18 this year. For GPA, the difficulty of program, school curve, etc, are essentially sorts that may be considered. A law school may love rounding out their class with a doctor of pharmacy, which isn’t common entry into law school. But, for their rankings and prestige, law schools value a high median GPA— meaning they want at least half their class to have 10:00 AM

The highest GPA possible. Their rankings are better served by someone who has a 4.0 with easy classes, than a chemical engineer with a 3.2 GPA. 10:01 AM
