i try to do timed sections every weekday but sometimes i need a break

Have you tried waiting to try timed again until you have improved in untimed? I trained as a musician and in dance, and I kinda took the idea that you can't do something fast until you can do it slow to heart when I was studying and it seemed to work for me. I also did a lot of postmortems on why I missed questions.

My most damaging problem was misreading, like my assumptions about what something would say made me see something different from what it actually said, especially when I got tired.

I didn't get like an amazeballs score or anything, but once I sort of saw what I was repeatedly doing, I was able to make pretty decent gains pretty quickly.

I don't mean to stress you on theory. It already sounds like you have a really great plan.

One thing that is kind of irritating about my life is that my memory is insane. I remember stupid details of things that happened forever ago. And I notice minor coincidences and can remember them for long enough to notice when they happen too frequently to be coincidences. And I have learned to wait it out long enough to where the coincidences are

quite definitely not coincidences before I identify them as patterns because when you remember every stupid thing, your brain can make a pattern out of anything

This isn't a useful memory, like memorizing the constitution or something. It's more like I know in detail every moment of the last time I went to drop something off at the post office

I have yet to apply but I am 99% sure that you ask your recommenders, they say yes, you send them a link and they submit the letters via the link or something like that

Yes through the LSAC website you’ll enter your recommenders information & it emails them a link to upload. Funny enough one of my recommenders was so old school & also lived out of state at the time that I had to mail him a letter with also the confirmation document to sign and then sent it to the LSAC headquarters themselves. Took about 2

with your desired schools, it would be better to wait.

you can always submit the rest of your application and they'll wait to review it til that lsat score comes through if you're registered

but for those schools (assuming you don't have other leg up in your application) you need to get your score up

haha i understand. So LSAT specifically says anyone can range 3 points on any given test. A 168 is outside of that "the test has range".

so my point is the "if you are truly testing on multiple occasions outside of that range" then you truly are improving and waiting is worth it guaranteed. if you are aiming for schools where their 25 percentile is your present score, you need to retake

if you can explain/demonstrate why your lsat score is not indicative of your academic potential then maybe. But your LSAT score is the greatest indicator of your 1L gpa so you should be prepared to be in the bottom 50% of your class at whatever school you attend. So temper your expectations for grad outcomes.

so i work in family law rn and i will tell you - most family law firms are really small and so they dont care about rank like at all.

so for example, one of our named senior partners is a rank 150 school

so if your goal is family law, (at least at my firm) whatever school takes you and apply to ones that are realistic
