Tell us what's important to you
I should have double deposited at UA. Apartments under 800/month there
Property taxes too high in north east rip
ugh I feel
I'm praying that the apartment I applied for in Madison pulls through
Temple is a lot better for my goals than unlv but dang i shoulda took up the $590/month on campus housing i got approved for there 💀
wait wtf unlv gave you that?? Man I hope to get something similar next cycle
If you apply early they had private bedroom shared bath for 510/month but i applied for private bathroom which was 590
thats crazy wow. Imma apply super early cz thats my top choice
did they have a quick turnaround time?
Legacy LV student housing
I applied nov 5 and got a full ride nov 9 lol
broooo LOL congrats!!
I visited the school last summer and the area was hella sketch ngl but I can get past that
I withdrew tho. The residency reclass required and coordinating moving from pa to nv seemed like a big hassle so i went with my local option. But unlv is great program. I really liked it
@GuiltlessPuffyDog: lol thats what all the locals were saying but i walked all the way from the strip to the school on harmon ave and ngl it felt way safer than Philadelphia schools that im used to
yeah thats true the vegaslocals subreddit acts like ur gunna die . Ive def been in worse places especially considering I live in Detroit LOL but it was still a bit unnerving
Other than seeing a sketchy free needle tent when i was walking maryland parkway to target/albertsons it wasnt that bad imo if youre aware of your surroundings
I dont feel comfortable walking at all around temple other than directly on campus and unlv was much safer to walk by in my experience
9:22
I swear dress companies hate people that aren't a size 0
9:22
I cannot find a single formal dress that fits me that doesn't look like it was made for someone's grandmother
9:22
or a 16 year old
They DO Valley
or anyone above a C cup tbh
dude yeah temple is messed lol. Out of curiosity, why did you chose Temple over your other options? Not bashing you at all LOL just genuinely curious
9:23
@TediousSparrow: oh my god yes, it's awful
@ValleyH: dress shopping causes emotional damage literally every time... it's ridiculous
9:24
@TediousSparrow: Nothing is as humbling as trying on dresses or jeans lol
@GuiltlessPuffyDog: my entire family lives within 60 miles of temple and i have close friends in the dental / law program already
I thought itd be best for having a support system in law school vs moving to tucson or las vegas and not knowing anyone
