i think its important though to remember when looking at the career outcomes of schools like UT that people from UT place so well in texas *because* they want to work in texas. as long as you do a good job of building your resume out in school and taking advantage of all your opportunities, you'll be fine no matter where you go

@eggbagel: that's how I felt about Indiana, it's nerve wracking to not have a guaranteed exit plan but if you take advantage of the opportunities you can definitely get a job else-where
