Well to continue. Yesterday's protests were the result of mass censorship and the administration’s repeated changes in their protest/group activity policy in DIRECT response to any protests for Palestine. Nothing happened to pro-Israel protestors who did the exact same thing. The admin is extremely biased. They even hired private investigators to seek out any “suspicious” activities and communications among suspected pro-Palestinian students in their own dorm rooms, and specifically SUSPENDED students BEFORE arresting them so they can be labeled as trespassers on their own university grounds that they pay tuition for. They were given less than 15 minutes to pack up and leave their dorms for peacefully protesting, lost their student health insurance, and prevented them from returning to the lawn to pick up their OWN belongings that the admin confiscated. Student council members are picking up items on behalf of student protestors because these students can face repercussions (they can fa

(they can face suspensions if they haven’t been suspended yet for returning to get their own belongings). Also, the level of the admin's hypocrisy is INSANE when they never did anything to the IDF ex-solder who used a military-grade weapon on students that caused trips to the ER and mass hospitalizations.

So I don't like Berkeley's dean either but tbf it was not 100% unjustified since it was technically on private property. But the protests are much more open I feel like since they seem to value free speech more than Columbia at least

Oh yeah. The USC admin didn't even bother raising the security to let her speak because they didnt want to set up a certain "image"... they totally could have but they just didn't want to support their own valedictorian

Btw, Jon M. Chu (director of "Crazy Rich Asians") and Billie Jean King are also stepping out as USC guest speakers for graduation after the valedictorian was prevented from doing her speech.
Suspending students before arresting them to give them the maximum legal fucking is pretty crazy
