It's not as generous as PSLF or an LRAP, but offers an added safety net for anyone that's not locked into PSLF for the full 10 years
@UnnaturalLikeGoat i think yesterday someone said they got off Cornell's WL
14:41
the two WLs I care about straight up said they wouldn't make any moves until late april, whatevr that means
14:42
@legendarytempest: Don't have any special info on the codification, but if future administrations make any changes to the plan those will likely apply to new entrants only
14:45
I would never bet against the willingness of certain political figures to give student borrowers the finger, but with federal programs where benefits accrue over time (rather than year by year) it's unusual to make terms worse for participants without some type of sunset period/grandfathering in of current participants

this sucks
StaleHarshMayfly
14:48

StaleHarshMayfly
14:48

StaleHarshMayfly
14:48
fordham didnt move in lawhub but it is updated saying WL'd
is there any for sure waves today or tmr
are there*
StaleHarshMayfly
14:50
nothing guaranteed at this point
StaleHarshMayfly
14:50
would expect largely WL/R waves with trickling As
are the waves crazier in like december
StaleHarshMayfly
14:50
i think jan-feb is peak
14:51
Waves in Jan/Feb/early March are massive
14:51
By mid-late March, schools' admitted student programming is starting, so they try and admit the candidates they like most in time for a full press of recruiting
have any nyu feb apps heard back? assuming not
Is it weird that I feel better about my chances at CLS than NYU?
14:54
@LateScandalousCaterpillar: 68% of February applicants to NYU on here have posted some type of update
14:55
23% have a non-hold result (NB: a bunch of those will be withdrawals)
