Good luck y'all <3
wishing the best for yall!
i told them at the interview that i would withdraw my other offers and commit to w&l, and that lit their eyes up. could be worth saying that in an email if you dont hear anything in the next 2 weeks
SteelersReignSupreme
11:30
@NextLumpySpacePrincess: I also said that and got a similar reaction. It definitely helps a ton!
11:46
they just sent out an update for the wl
SteelersReignSupreme
11:53
They said a ton of people deposit and likely only a handful of spots to fill in the coming weeks😳
12:02
i don’t think they would like to say that many people didn’t deposit so i’ll just keep hopes up for now
SteelersReignSupreme
12:03
@proximith: That is very true, it is nice of them to be proactive about it. Its good to have an idea of what is happening.
Pandally
12:16
They're aiming for a class of 125-130. I can't imagine everyone deposited. And in that case, some of us deposited but are hoping for WL movement elsewhere. I know it puts people in a spot that are still on the waitlist but we can all thank adcomms for the slow process. Regardless, W&L has an honor policy so they are likely telling the truth about the amount of deposits.
Pandally
12:26
For me, I'm so ready to give up on W&M. The perfect house just went on the market within 5 minutes of w&l. But since my SO is going to be taking on most of the responsibility
Pandally
12:27
I have to at least wait for W&M until may 15th.
SteelersReignSupreme
12:51
@Pandally: I don’t blame you this process is very stressful. I think we are all craving definitive answers. I still have not deposited yet but likely will by the end of this week.
SteelersReignSupreme
12:52
I also wish I knew other people going to law school. Lsdata is my only outlet to discuss it with others in similar situations.
Pandally
12:54
@SteelersReignSupreme: it really is...I guess May 15th will be my day of definitive but it still sucks haha.
Pandally
12:55
@SteelersReignSupreme: same for me. I can't really talk about it with anyone else. The attorneys are busy and its been so long for them. Family and friends don't get it and wish i would shut up about it. 😅 They just don't get it!
hey @proximith - just reach out every other week with a polite email restating that it is your top choice and you would be excited to move to lex. i believe you will get in! my fingers are crossed for u. hope to see u in lex in august!
14:59
Does anyone know if there are potential for scholarship offers if you've been accepted from the wait list?
15:00
It was mentioned at an open house as a possibility, rather than a hard no for waitlisted students, I'm just wondering if anyone has any info.
16:03
@NextLumpySpacePrincess: thank you for advice! i sent out a loci today and ill keep in contact with them! hope i see you in lexington too!
Thank you for the hope! I am kinda worried that they have no spots left tho ;(
9:52
@PaigeHawkins: i only got in on April 15 and got a big scholarship offer today!

Does W&L not have a discord?

@alas: I got one today as well!! :D
