they realize that it could currently be your once choice but that can change, it may incentivize them to give you what you want to lock you up

yeah it was great, unfortunately the increase still didnt make it work financially, and also i had numerous other offers with the gulc preferred waitlist with schools in their range. i didnt explicitly state which others were competitors, but i let them connect the dots. ofc a school like GW is gonna compete with your GULCs, emorys, UNCs, etc etc

@chag: Don't think your stats are holding you back here. You're at/above both medians for NYU, CLS, Berkeley, Georgetown, and a very soft splitter everywhere else
