Anybody go to the accepted students day? I have a conflict with another school and couldn't attend. Wondering what the vibe was?
@TranquilityBaseCLO: I went. I was mostly impressed. Definitely got great vibes from the prospective students - seems like it will be a vibrant community. The current students seemed satisfied with their experience too. Some just didn't like Atlanta lol. Apparently the 2023 employment data comes out this week with a 97% employment rate 10 months out. V impressive. Also, they told us that 35 or so law firms including many BL firms come to the school in Oct of 1L to begin the recruiting process for 2L summer. Emory clearly has national standing and reach. It was strange that they gave us the reading for the mock law class when we arrived for the visiting day rather than before, and there seemed to be a lack of communication between professors and administrators, including the dean of admissions. But overall I was impressed

I suspect everyone who did apply recently will figure out tomorrow, if "before april" is the deadline
I applied to a grad program at emory, and the JD adcomm there told me to let them know when I heard from the grad program
told the JD office I got into the grad program on feb 15, they didn't respond to me until two days ago
they're slammed
are they for sure going to announce "before april"
oh absolutely not.
but that's what they said
im so desperate lmao
where did they say that?
someone in here reported it, I believe it's been washed over by the chat
gotcha thanks
