When they waitlisted me prior, that status just showed on my portal as waitlist

Got the same email, but after business hours. Will be calling back the number with hopefully good news. I did the optional WL interview, so I'm hopeful to find out tmr.
I called at 8pm EST and they answered
14:23
In the past 20 hours I've called them 2 times and haven't gotten a response. I've been at work all day and feel sick to my stomach that I haven't gotten an answer abt the email yet..
You are probably in. I can't see them making you call to get a rejection
Plus we both did the interview and got notified at the same time and they let me in. I think you are in
Just got invited to an admitted students dinner in DC. So they do this in most popular arts?

Has anyone here had any luck with scholarship negotiations?
13:21
anyone have any luck getting off of the WL?
@ValleyH: was on waitlist in October (but they extended admission for spring in the place of Fall). Had an alumni interview in january to get off the waitlist. Got off of the WL a few weeks later
@Jack77: they have a scholarship reconsideration form on their website that you can do. I had luck in my reconsideration for scholarship but mine wasn't so much of a negotiation but more of a plea lol. I want to go there and i just want to make sure i can afford it
But tbh. Your scholarship is great by there standards. Idk how much more you could request

I'm really worried about the conditionality of the scholarship.
looking at these recent decisions I'm kinda shocked I got waitlisted for fall. Looks like tons of people even below my stats made it and I've had success at other schools so I don't think it's my apps
@VersedImperfectMouse: i think it might be because they've let in a lot of people already that they are just being more cautious and WLing until deposits
great scholarship offer though!
