depredation

Read a random definition: non-contestability clause

A quick definition of depredation:

Term: DEPREDATION

Definition: Depredation means stealing or taking things by force. It's like when someone goes into your house and takes your things without asking. It's not a nice thing to do and can cause a lot of harm to the person who is being robbed.

A more thorough explanation:

Definition: Depredation refers to the act of plundering or pillaging.

Examples:

  • The depredation of the village by the invading army left the residents with nothing.
  • The depredation of the forest by illegal loggers has led to the destruction of many habitats.

These examples illustrate how depredation involves taking something by force or without permission. In the first example, the invading army took everything from the village without the residents' consent. In the second example, the illegal loggers took the trees from the forest without permission, causing harm to the environment and the animals that live there.

@PsychaCola: not even tho, the bot gives a range of scores and spas thats simply too large
15:10
I'm 21 but at least qualify the things i say with "Idrk I'm just another applicant"
LSAT sub might be worse, I mentioned that my blind practice test was 171 (not in a cringe braggy way promise) and genuinely got hate comments for it
EloquentGunner
15:10
lol. "here are applicants with a 172-177 and 37.7-4.0"
Beep bop did I do something wrong?
EloquentGunner
15:10
yes thats how reddit works unfortunately
15:11
LSAT sub also seems to suffer a lot from tutors trying to pull in clients
[] ararara
15:11
I don’t think tutors or consulting groups offering their services is a bad thing at all
15:11
I do a ton of shitposting in r/lsa lmao
EloquentGunner
15:11
lmfao do u guys know that dude with a 171 who was soliciting clients at a ridiculous level
I ran across an LSAT tutor on there who couldn't tell I was trolling when I claimed that schools gatekeeping LSAT scores is literally a war crime
EloquentGunner

But LSD>tutors consulting services. LSD really beats all of it imo. The kinds of people I’ve gotten to learn from here for free… it’s crazy.
Should just form a cartel of high scorers and offer to undercut the hourly rate of any professional tutor by 10/hour
Unravel the market
honestly tempted to just start an LSAT tutoring website, never mention my score, and see what happens

I worked for a scam lsat tutoring company. I have stories.
15:14
Lol I understand tutors need to make a living but it's so predatory
15:14
@ararara: you are also a tutor so maybe you have a different pov. for a lot of people tutoring is really expensive. I tried one for about 3 weeks and then just cancelled when everything they told me to do I could do for free and on my own time.
starting a tutoring business with a 120--I know all of the wrong answers

15:14
I think they’re all scams to some extent but this was beyond the pale

75 percent of 175+ cannot even tutor properly
15:14
I wrote a bunch of code to generate insights, called it 69Sage, and put it on Github lol. I refused to pay for a tutor on principle (and also I'm broke)
The actual move is probably like, sign up as a 7sage tutor and then after a few sessions offer every client a discount to cut out the middle man
i do stand by my opinion that getting a 120 is actually impressive.

my coworkers are idiots and ask questions youd expect from a 120 scorer
like it legitimately takes effort

@RandomizedUsername: lol i do this, just not with 7sage
